Kids Field Trip Alpaca Experience

Perfect for school groups and kids kindergarten and up. This one-hour adventure brings students face-to-face with our alpacas in a fun and educational setting. The visit is at our main barn, where kids will enjoy a short lesson on where alpacas come from, why we raise them, and the unique role they play on our farm.

Using their own small blue feeding bowls, children will get to feed the alpacas safely through the fence in our center pasture — a special area set between two alpaca pastures, so alpacas are all around them. This creates plenty of close-up moments, smiles, and photo opportunities while the kids enjoy seeing the alpacas’ gentle personalities shine.

Designed with learning and interaction in mind, this experience is also a wonderful option for special needs groups, offering a calm, hands-on encounter with our friendly herd.

Cost: The field trip experience is $12.50 per child, with a base rate of $75 for groups of six children or fewer. For larger groups, the cost is calculated per child, up to a maximum of 15 children. Parents and chaperones attend free of charge.
